The YAKport Kayak Launch makes boarding and getting out of kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards much easier. Launch a kayak from a dock. The compact and sturdy design makes it great for residential use. YAKport Kayak Launches greatly improve kayak access for kayakers. Easy on and off the water.

The YAKport Kayak Launch improves access to your kayak by providing additional support while entering and exiting your kayak. Great for entering from a dock, or seawall without tipping over and falling in the water. Also great for helping people who need assistance getting in and out become more independent.

The Gray YAKport Kayak Kit includes:

YAKport can be installed on practically any pier/dock with the installation kits available. For floating docks, a set of metal hinges are used for the installation. While fixed dock installations use a set of pole connectors. Please note that for fixed dock installation, you will need a pair of two dock posts (not included), but are available for purchase if needed.

The YAKport provides a safe and stable cradle for boarding and unloading. Simply place your favorite paddle sport vessel on the Kayak Launch and enjoy a sure-footed and stable entry. Then push or pull yourself in your kayak into the water with very little effort. Once your paddling session is over, pull yourself right back onto the YAKport and enjoy the same stability and convenience while getting out. Now you can easily get out and enjoy the water!

To launch a Stand-Up Paddle Board, place the Paddle Board's fins over the edge of the YAKport into the water. Then back out to launch.

The YAKport is a floating plastic kayak launch roto-molded from highly durable UV-protected polyethylene. YAKport is made in the USA!

Will YAKport work with my kayak? Paddle sport vessels up to 34” wide will fit inside the YAKport kayak launch. There is no length restriction. You can even launch canoes and paddle boards.
Why does one side of the YAKport have three connection points and the other side have two? It has different anchoring options: the two-point side is for higher dock systems and the three-point side for lower dock systems.
Can I attach the YAKport to my dock? Yes, the YAKport can attach to virtually any dock style and height with the appropriate floating or fixed dock attachment kits. We offer floating and fixed dock attachment kits for high- and low-profile docks. We also have Connect-A-Dock specific kits if you are planning to attach this to a Connect-A-Dock 1000 series or 2000 series dock. 
Do I need to hire someone to install the YAKport, or can I do it myself? It is easy to install a YAKport, but professional installation by is recommended for safety. Installation by Recreational Innovations is available in Wisconsin!
Do UV rays make the product hot or impact its structure over time? YAKport may warm in direct sun, lighter colors absorb less heat. It’s engineered to resist UV damage and maintain durability.
What kind of maintenance is required? No special maintenance. Clean with a stiff broom and clean water, or a soapy water mixture. Use environmentally safe products.
How do I store my YAKport in the winter? Remove from the water, store flat and right-side-up to avoid ice/water damage. YAKport Winter Storage Tips.
How do you clean it? Clean with a stiff bristle push broom or scrub brush. Use fresh water or an environmentally friendly soap and water mixture to clean your YAKport.

What are the benefits of the roto grab bars and overhead assist? They make it easier to pull/push yourself on/off and provide balance when stepping in/out of the YAKport.
Is all the hardware I need to assemble / install my YAKport included with the order? Basic hardware is included for assembly of the YAKport. For installation additional anchoring hardware (poles, lag bolts, nuts, bolts, washers) may be needed depending on your dock setup and lake bottom.
